Tale of the Whale

We knew this place was going to be great seeing the number of cars in the parking lot before then opening at 4 pm. We had a large party of 15 and they were able to accommodate us if we came right at 4. Between 4-5 is the early bird special, and you save 20% off your check! I believe our servers name was Zack, but if not.. either way, our server was fantastic! We started off with the calamari, and it was so flavorful and delicious. My daughter got the kids’ popcorn shrimp while my son got the fried combination platter. My fiance ordered the broiled platter, and i got the tale of the whale grill special. Everything was delicious! Those broiled scallops were fantastic, and I can’t get over by how delicious those mashed potatoes were. The food came out quick and hot, and everything was great. We can’t wait to visit nags head again so we can return here for a meal.
