"My wife & I had an opportunity to stay at Bluff Shoals the week of 10/2017 for a family wedding. We've vacationed for decades in Ocracoke, Avon, Hatteras & so forth. The motel is a great throwback to the Island life. The staff was A+, friendly, rooms are simple & very clean, allows you to just unplug & enjoy Island life. The location is great & within walking distance of the ferry, several great outdoor restaurants & being able to enjoy everything about the Island. Will absolutely stay here again."
